WTL becomes latest Sun ServiceManager
Sun Microsystems reseller WTL has built on its reputation for strong customer service by gaining its certification as a Sun ServiceManager.
This latest certification from Sun Microsystems builds on WTL’s already strong reputation as the leading member of the Sun APRC (Application Provider Resource Centre) programme, and will enable WTL to provide its customers with full product life-cycle support and helpdesk facilities through the range of SunSpectrum service packages.
The awarding of the Sun ServiceManager accreditation means that WTL has been recognised for providing full product life-cycle support and helpdesk facilities, through the range of SunService packages, direct to the customer.
Colin Higgins, from WTL said: “The SSM accreditation will enable us to retain full management of our customer accounts, allowing us to build on our rapport with and support for the customer. It will also help put us in a strong position to maximise future sales and support opportunities with the customer.
“We have always aimed at bringing the best possible service to our clients and this can be seen in the success of the APRC programme and now in Sun’s backing of the support services that we have to offer.
“The team have worked very hard in making sure that we are able to meet all the requirements of the Sun ServiceManager status and it is a credit to their hard work that we have achieved it. We will now be looking to maintain and build on this level of service.”
Under the terms of the Sun ServiceManager certification the company had to be able to demonstrate that the company is equipped to contract for and manage certain delivery aspects of post-sales support on Sun systems sold under a Sun Authorised Reseller Agreement.
